How It Works

A simple, no-surprises process

You'll know exactly what to expect at every step. No pressure. No mystery. No "the painting doesn't match the room" moments.

Tell me about it

Fill out the form below — what room it's for, what colors you love, the story or feeling you want. Pictures of the wall help.

I send a sketch

Within a week I'll send you a concept sketch with a price quote, dimensions, and a rough timeline. Free, no commitment yet.

You approve

Tweak the sketch as much as you want until it feels right. Once you approve, I take a 50% deposit and start painting.

It ships, signed

3–6 weeks later (depending on size), the finished piece ships to your door. Final 50% due before shipping.

What I Love Painting

Some directions that always come out beautifully

Not a hard list — just a starting place. If your idea isn't here, ask anyway.

Mardi Gras & Krewe

Crowns, king cakes, jeweled florals. Custom krewe colors and themes welcome.

Florals & Greenery

Florals

Moody magnolias, dark hydrangeas, soft botanicals. Tell me your room's palette.

Pet Portraits

Pet portraits

Painted from your favorite photo. Send a few — we'll pick the one that captures them.

Tell Me More

Something else entirely

If your idea isn't here, that doesn't mean no. Ask. Half my favorite pieces started as "would you paint...?"

Frequently Asked

Questions I get all the time

How long until I get my piece?

Most commissions take 3–6 weeks from approved sketch to shipped. Larger heirloom pieces or anything with gold leaf can take up to 7. If you have a hard deadline (anniversary, birthday, etc.), tell me upfront and I'll let you know if I can hit it.

How much does shipping cost?

U.S. shipping is included in the quoted price for The Mini and The Statement tiers. The Heirloom tier ships white-glove with insured crating — that's also included. International? Reach out, I'll quote it case-by-case.

Will it arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Statement and Heirloom pieces arrive wired with hardware in place — you hang and you're done. Mini pieces include either a sawtooth hanger or an easel back, your call. Care instructions tucked into every package.

Can I see it before it ships?

Yes. I send progress photos at the halfway point and a final photo before I varnish and ship. If something feels off, we adjust before it leaves the studio. No surprise reveals — your reaction shouldn't be a gamble.

What if I hate the sketch?

Then we don't paint it. The sketch phase is free and revisable. We don't move forward until you're excited. That's a hard rule.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Currently U.S. only — but reach out if you're somewhere else and we'll figure something out. I've shipped to Canada once, with proper care.

Can you paint a copy of an existing piece?

Of one of mine — yes, with small variations (no two exact copies). Of someone else's work — no, that's not fair to the original artist. But I'd love to paint something inspired by what you saw.

What about returns or refunds?

Because every commission is custom, deposits are non-refundable once you approve the sketch. Damaged-in-shipping is on me — I'll repair or repaint at no charge. Thoughtfully handled, always.
